Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the SCND.AI website, invite request forms, documentation pages, and private beta product experience. It is intended to describe our current beta-stage practices in clear language.
SCND.AI is designed to turn approved work activity into structured work memory for people, teams, and AI agents. The product may involve sensitive work context, so beta users should only enable capture for activity they are authorized to process.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use SCND.AI, we may collect or process:
- Contact details you submit, such as email, name, company, and beta use case.
- Account and beta access information, including invite status and onboarding preferences.
- Approved work activity that you choose to capture, such as app/window context, notes, tasks, files, entities, relationships, decisions, and goals.
- Screen, audio, or meeting-derived context only when the relevant product feature is enabled and permitted by your settings.
- Technical data such as device information, logs, diagnostics, browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and security events.
- Feedback, support requests, and messages you send to us.
How we use data
We use data to operate the private beta, provide product functionality, generate structured memory, improve reliability, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and evaluate whether users are a good fit for beta access.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product quality, usage patterns, and feature priorities. We do not use your private work content to sell advertising.
Your controls
You control what is captured, processed, and shared. SCND.AI is intended to make capture modes, exclusions, and sharing choices explicit. You should pause or disable capture whenever work content is confidential, personal, or outside your authority to process.
Some beta configurations may use local processing, user-provided model keys, or hosted model providers. Before enabling a workflow, review the relevant settings so you understand where data may be processed.
Retention
We keep invite requests, account records, support messages, and beta usage records for as long as needed to operate the beta, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product.
Beta users may request deletion of their account-related personal data. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for an early-stage private beta, including access controls and operational security practices. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, especially during beta development.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal, regulated, or confidential third-party data unless you have confirmed that your beta configuration and legal basis are appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal data. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.
If you use SCND.AI on behalf of an organization, that organization may control certain data and settings. Please contact your organization first for workplace data requests.
